Navratna founded
One woman's lifelong vow of service
“I don't run a facility. I keep a family — and no one in it is ever alone.”
Anita Rakade began serving her community at just 19. That vow never faded — in 2017 it became Navratna, a real home for elders who had nowhere warm to grow old. It has always been a family mission, built alongside her husband Bapu and son Rohan.
Today that same family cares for 42 residents as their own — proof that dignity in old age isn't a service you buy, but a promise someone chooses to keep.
A permanent home for 100 elders
Today we care for 42 elders in a rented home. The dream is a self-owned, forever home — so no elder we love is ever asked to move again. Here is exactly what your partnership builds.
